We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Adviser to join our Internal Communications team in either our Auckland or Wellington office on a 12-month fixed term contract.
We believe there is truly an art to creating content that resonates with a diverse audience that fits well into different channels such as the intranet, social networking tools like Yammer - now Viva Engage, presentations, speeches and events.
Creating content that informs, inspires and above all engages our people regardless of their role within the organisation will be both your mission and your happy place.

It also gives us the scope to rethink how we do things to take our effectiveness and impact to the next level.

Effective internal communications will be a key enabler to see that the FMA is a well-connected, well-informed and well-engaged organisation, while also living up to 'A great place to work.

As an important part of the Internal Communications team, you'll be tuned into what's happening around the FMA.
You will enjoy talking to all of our people and have a great nose for spotting great story and content opportunities.
With your background or training in journalism or communications, you'll be able to turn around a wide range of quality content in our fast-paced environment where our 'new normal' is highly dynamic as we constantly look for ways to make more of an impact, with our outcome focused regulation approach.
You'll be the person that people naturally turn to for your organisational prowess, curiosity and ability to dig a bit deeper with your drive to understand and make things better through effective communication.
Along with this, you will have outstanding writing skills who can dabble in video, photography and a little bit of design (desirable).
