Position Summary

The Senior Commercial & Ag Insurance Specialist is licensed to represent property, casualty and or commercial lines.

Essential Qualifications

This position is licensed to represent property, casualty and or commercial lines
Hold or working towards completing a Level 3 Brokers license
Complete the Commercial Academy offered by SGI
Writes complex risks with multiple locations and large property values
Quote 50 new policies annually
Service a business and commercial book of $950K in premium (subject to Manager discretion)
Underwrites a variety of insurance policies relating to commercial lines to ensure businesses are covered for risks facing their operations such as fire, professional liability, business interruption and errors and omissions; requiring completion of Level ll Insurance License, retains signing authority to bind the agency to individual policies
Can process personal lines policies; contracts include items such as residential and recreational property, boats and other personal pleasure craft, and jewelry
Recommends and implements a client's insurance coverage, premiums and collects payments; promotes Brio Insurance products and services
No formal supervisory responsibilities, but may supervise the activities of Level ll licensees on an ad hoc basis. Support the achievement of department and organizational goals as well as actively participates in regular staff meetings
