What you'll do:
As a Test Lead with Calypso experience, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our client's trading systems. Your expertise in Calypso will be essential in managing comprehensive test plans for their trading applications. You will lead a team of testers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth and learning. Your role will involve close collaboration with development, operations, and business teams to deliver robust testing solutions. With your leadership skills and commitment to quality assurance, you will contribute significantly to the continuous improvement of their software testing processes.
Lead and manage the testing team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
Develop, implement, and maintain test strategies, plans, and cases for Calypso-based applications.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high-quality deliverables.
Identify and document defects, working collaboratively with development teams to resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
Conduct performance, regression, and functional testing to validate application functionality.
Analyse test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Test Lead position brings a wealth of experience in software testing along with strong expertise in Calypso. With at least five years' experience in the field, including three years in a leadership role, you have a proven track record of leading testing efforts in financial services. Your solid understanding of test automation tools and frameworks will be invaluable in this role. Your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with your strong organisational abilities, make you an ideal fit for this position. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
Strong expertise in Calypso including experience with its modules and configurations.
Proven track record of leading testing efforts in financial services preferably within trading or stock exchange environments.
Solid understanding of test automation tools and frameworks.
Experience in Functional Testing
Excellent analytical problem-solving skills coupled with strong organisational abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
