Banyan Treatment Centers is recruiting for a Director of Operations to join our team in Laurel Run, PA. This position reports directly to the facility's Executive Director and is responsible for managing operational departments.

The Director of Operations operates in accordance with Banyan Treatment Center policies and procedures and the standards of State and Federal Regulations to ensures safe quality care for all Banyan Treatment Center clients and leadership, supervision and training to staff within the following departments: Behavioral Health Services, Dietary, Maintenance, and Housekeeping.
Essential Functions
Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company's efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identify opportunities for improvement.
Oversees operations, housekeeping, dietary, and maintenance departments, ensuring each is reaching goals set by departmental and company leadership.
Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to directors and supervisors; for major changes, meet with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions and maintain morale.
Improves customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.
Responsible for the supervision, training and monitoring of Operations staff.
Manages and fully oversees all departments related to Operations: Behavioral Health Services, Housekeeping, Dietary, and Maintenance.
Coordinates with clinical staff to establish client schedules and activities and maintains communication with counselors regarding clients.
Assist with client interventions and addresses any grievances or complaints from the clients or Operation department staff.
Ensures transportation safety by overseeing van inspections and following safety rules and conducts weekly safety inspections of residence and facility.
Supervise completion of routine maintenance and all inspections and safety reports and turn in on schedule in a timely, efficient manner.
Utilize independent judgment, strong initiative and decision-making skill.
Coordination, planning and the scheduling of staff, events and activities critical to the position.
Makes a responsible effort to adhere to established safety procedures and practices in the workplace and complies with information security policies, protocols and procedures and confidential information in accordance with the HIPPA, Information Security Policy, Protocols, Procedures and CFR-42.
Disperse and supervise Transportation Supervisor for errands, appointments, transportation needs of clients including client activities, medical visits, shopping, to and from meetings, assisting in transferring clients between levels of care in a timely and efficient manner.
Hold mandatory meetings monthly to discuss any concerns, problems and for training purposes and generate monthly reports as identified.
Assures that the facility's patient care policies and procedures and including those related to the environment of care, which relate to dietary services are implemented.
Requirements
Associate' Degree in related field preferred
At least 3 years of experience in the field of chemical dependency/substance abuse
At least 3 years of Management experience.
Knowledgeable of operations in a residential or hospital work-environment.
Preferences
Work experience in the field of chemical dependency/substance abuse and/or mental health.
Working knowledge of substance abuse treatment center operations.
