ELMUtility Services, with over 1000 employees nationwide, has an outstandingopportunity as a Utility Locate Technician, working in the Williston, NorthDakota area. With starting pay from $22.50-$30 per hour DOQ, you will beprovided paid training by ELM using ELM equipment, including company providedvehicle to work independently as your mobile office. ELM utilizes our LaunchPointsoftware system with state-of-the-art technology to ensure the job is as simpleand efficient as possible for our technicians. ELM Technicians provide aservice to their community ensuring the gas, electric, communications systems,etc. are maintained and dependable by performing excellent quality marking ofutilities to prevent excavation damage to these critical facilities. Utilityfacilities that provide heat, light, and necessary communications critical toour modern life serves the communities in which we live.

Yourspecific duties in this role will include, but not limited to:

•Workingindependently outdoors utilizing your company-provided vehicle as your mobileoffice, you will work a route of locate requests to be completed each day.
•Ourmission is to correctly, safely, and efficiently locate and mark undergroundutilities including, electric and gas lines primarily, marking their properlocation using marking paint, flags, and whiskers in some cases. In some areasELM does also locate communications or other facilities as well. Localmanagement can provide specifically what utilities we service in your area.
•Completeall necessary digital documentation and paperwork
•Receivedaily route and locate requests by logging in each morning from yourvehicle/mobile office handheld smartphone. No need to come to an office everyday. The day normally will start at your residence and ends on the last locatejob completed.
•Respondto emergency calls in a timely manner as directed
•Workperiodic overtime and weekend on-call rotation may be requested

Specificqualifications for the position include:

•Abilityto pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Please note:
This is a Safety-SensitiveDOT position that must comply with all Federal Department of Transportationregulations. The use of Marijuana remains a drug listed in Schedule I of theControlled Substances Act, and the use of marijuana (medical or recreational)is prohibited.
•Atleast 18 years of age
•HighSchool Diploma or GED
•Validdriver's license in good standing
