• This role independently applies, plans, designs, directs, organizes, executes, and recommends, related activities of civil engineering projects within the organization.

Requirements for Position
• Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:


• Ability to analyze available data and regulatory framework to determine the feasibility of potential projects.


• Assists Office Leader with the preparation of scope of services and fee estimation for potential projects.


• Conceives project plans for projects and prepares design and permitting schedules for the execution of projects.


• Maintain healthy client relationships.


• Assist with leading and managing staff to achieve established goals for successful projects.


• Prepares or directs the team in the preparation and modification of calculations, construction cost estimates, designs, reports, permit applications, construction plans, and specifications for the project.


• Works closely with clients and regulatory agencies to facilitate approval of permit applications and plans.


• Responsible for P&L of projects.


• Effectively communicates the corporate goals, philosophy, and culture.


• Assist the Division Manager in developing near and long-term goals for revenue and profit growth and provide input for corporate decisions.


• Ensures compliance with firm policies and procedures.


• Performs construction observation of projects to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards.


• Performs project close-out duties and conducts de-brief with the team.


• Requirements for Position:


• Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering.


• Must have Professional Registration (PE).


• 10+ years of experience.


• Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, ICPR, & Ponds.


• Valid drivers license with approved/acceptable driving history required.


• Management duties include budgeting, scheduling, job tracking, client interaction, and staff management.


• Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to forge strong relationships with clients, professionals, and within DRMP.


• Prior leadership experience, including leading successful teams and projects
