About the RoleWe're on the lookout for an experienced, dynamic, and proactive Social Media Marketing Executive and Content Creator who will drive our online presence, engage with our audience, and craft compelling content.In this role, you'll play a key part in growing our brand visibility, attracting new followers and customers, and fostering meaningful connections with our existing community.
You'll also have the exciting opportunity to lead our sales initiatives on TikTok.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate social media enthusiast to make a significant impact.Job Role Responsibilities You will be responsible for end-to-end creation of engaging and brand-promoting content for Popcorn Shed's social media channels.
You will shoot and edit images and video content for all our social media channels.
There is a big focus on video content creations (Instagram reels, Tiktok videos, lives etc).You will be working closely with our digital trading executive to ensure consistency across e-mail marketing and other consumer-facing touch points.The role will include being LIVE on Popcorn Shed's TikTok shopping channel, selling our portfolio of gourmet popcorn snacks & gifts.
This role will focus on owning the company's social presence and content creation, driving growth and engagement with a focus on TikTok and TikTok shop and Instagram.The PersonThese are the skills we're looking for.
Even if you don't tick every box, but feel you're right for us, we'd still love to hear from you.You might have a Social Media or Digital Marketing qualification, and ideally experience across social channels.Experience in planning and delivering campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube etc).Experience in delivery of influencer campaigns and community management.Excellent communicator who can quickly build rapport and influence others to build strong relationships.Copywriting skills with a creative flair and a proven ability to adapt and flex style and approach for the brand and channel.You will have analytical and reporting skills.
Our dream candidate will have photography and videography skills - happy working in a busy, fast-moving environment, with the confidence to build trust, engage and influence.A real foodie with natural curiosity around social media platforms will excel in this role.Competency with Adobe Creative Suite image editing applications including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is preferred but not essential.Competency with video editing software & apps such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro & Capcut are preferred but not essential.Deep understanding of the various social media platforms ecosystem:
trends, hashtags, music usage, functionalities, guidelines, and platform updates.A passion and interest in creating compelling brand stories that are engaging.Understands the art of visual storytelling, composition, and lighting.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in the English language.Great self-organisation skills to keep cool when working to tight deadlines.PerksUnlimited gourmet popcorn!Team socials.Employee discount.28 holiday days (including bank holidays).Pension scheme.
