Vehicle NVH is a key technical department within the product creation process, leading the engineering from concept to customer.Working here, you'll give our vehicles their unique characteristics, ensuring the many aspects of refinement required to achieve the customer expectations for all the Clients' programmes.It is all part of creating vehicles that delight customers and set us apart from the competition.The NVH Attributes Refinement Group encompasses 3 distinct teams; Prevention, Delivery and In-service Performance.Its responsible for strategy, methods, targets, testing, detection and resolution, specifically for the attributes of Squeak & Rattle and Water and Air Ingress across the full vehicle, systems and components.Operating from the very early phase of a vehicle programme, working cross functionally throughout design, development, manufacturing, launch until end of product life cycle.Your will play a pivotal role within the In-service Performance team to enhance the customer satisfaction by delivering vehicles free from abnormal noise (Squeak & Rattle) and water leaks.Your primary role will be to gather facts to make a clear problem definition, then to employ strong negotiation skills to drive problem resolution using 8D and other quality tools.The Performance team is responsible for issue resolutions that can arise internally through Manufacturing, Fleet users, Durability and Robustness vehicles and externally through warranty and IQS surveys.
Skills Required:
Automotive/Engineering degree or equivalent automotive experience preferredAbility to Plan work/Events and organise detailed activity to deliver the outcomesDemonstrable problem solving experience e.g.
