We are looking for a Portfolio Steering Analyst / Business Analyst (m/f/d), based in London.

Collaborating closely with various departments such as Claims, Finance, IT, Pricing, and more, we prioritize seamless coordination to deliver top-notch results and uphold exceptional standards across the board.
The Impact You Will Have As a Portfolio Steering Analyst / Business Analyst reporting to the Head of Portfolio Steering Marine, your presence will be pivotal in our London-based team.
Your primary responsibility will encompass conducting portfolio analysis and spearheading the creation of innovative underwriting tools.
Your contributions will play a crucial role in guiding the global Line of Business (LoB) strategy towards sustainability and fostering profitable growth.
Top of Form Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
Take full ownership of the data quality, report development, and delivery.
Provide regular reporting and analysis including documentation and presentation of results, to assist management with the active steering of the portfolio.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and develop ad-hoc reports as the need arises.
Support the team in developing and maintaining portfolio steering processes and tools.
Support maintenance and further development of Allianz Commercial Pricing Tools in close cooperation with CUO Marine Technical Office and Global Pricing.
Actively support LoB-specific projects and task forces.
Successfully collaborate with multiple departments within Allianz Commercial.
What You'll Bring to the Role Bachelor's degree in a numerical field such as Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or IT.
Minimum of Three to five years of experience in a data analysis role.
Proficient computer skills, especially in Excel and VBA; familiarity with database applications is a plus.
Strong aptitude for analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Ability to devise solutions considering intricate variables.
Demonstrated commitment to data-driven methodologies and a penchant for innovation, with a knack for introducing new digital workflows.
Clear and effective communication skills adaptable to diverse audiences; prior experience in presenting results to stakeholders is advantageous.
Excellent time management abilities to meet deadlines efficiently.
Proven capacity to cultivate robust professional relationships.
