In 2022, the company sold around 845 thousand bicycles and recorded a turnover of € 1.4 billion.

Develop efficient HR function that excels in supporting the business
Accell Group is owned by the Prive Equity company KKR and has grown tremendously by a large number of acquisitions.
Today the company produces and sell 12 bike brands both electric and non-electric bikes for all segments.
Due to the many acquisitions HR processes, systems and services differs greatly from location to location.
The company is on a journey to completely redesign HR to develop a best in class highly efficient HR function capable of providing extraordinary service and support for the entire organization.

You report to the CHRO and will be supporting the Commercial organization (CCO and his direct reports) and the EVP's of the Business Unit Lifestyle and Sports to align the HR strategy with the company objectives and to support further growth ambitions and drive business results.
Your daily tasks and responsibilities count to:

  • Develop and maintain strong partnership with business leaders and managers to understand their strategic objectives, business challenges and determine the HR agenda for the respective businesses.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Accell HR strategies that support business objectives, including talent management, leadership development, organizational design and cultural initiatives.
  • Facilitate senior leadership and executive team development, coaching leaders on effective management and leadership practices.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development, aligning development initiatives with business needs and individual career aspirations.
  • Drive the implementation of our core values within Accell to further define and foster a culture of being one Accell.
  • Participate in several HR projects such as the implementation of our HR system, joint job family framework and reward policy to establish a world class HR support model that will help drive the success of the company

The role is ideally based either at the Accell Group HQ in Amsterdam or in Sennfeld or Munich Germany.
You will also have the opportunity to travel up to 25% of the time to other Accell sites in Europe.

Experienced HRBP profile
You probably have a university degree in HR, Business Management or similar.
You have a minimum of 10 years' experience working in larger international companies with a wide scope of HR topics like organizational development, HR transformation, strategies & implementation and related HR disciplines.

You have obtained this experience in an international company with high standards of HR, preferably in a matrix organization.
If you have experience from a manufacturing company it is an advantage but not a requirement.

Furthermore, we are looking for you with the following personal traits:

  • Effective communicator across all levels; manages conflicts, possess great communication skills and is a good listener.
  • Proactive, getting things done mentality.
    Hands-on.
    Knows what good looks like, and not afraid of building it from scratch.
  • Result oriented and capable of steering others towards solutions.
  • Strong influential skills.
  • Pragmatic, people-oriented attitude to continually improve performance.
  • Confident personality and possess skills to support organizational activities.
