Finance controller

Do you want to be a numbers wizard in an innovative tech company? We are looking to hire a Finance Controller to join our top-notch finance department.
You will have financial responsibility for Talentech Denmark and Talentech Netherlands, where you'll monitor the day-to-day financial operations and work closely with the rest of the finance department.

About the role
You will have key responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting
• Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
• Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
• Manage Denmark & Netherlands' financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
• Support external auditors at Year End Closing
• Support our AR team with following up on customers and invoicing

The position is permanent employment with a start date determined by agreement.

Who are you?
To be a fit for this role, we are looking for someone with a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and between 4 and 8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.
Relevant experience may override education.
To thrive and succeed in your role, you must communicate well and have excellent business understanding, analytical, and decision-making skills.
You will have colleagues to spar and collaborate with, and it is expected that you want and can work well in a team atmosphere.
You are flexible, take initiative, and follow through.

Other qualifications:

• Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
• Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools
• Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience within audit a plus
• Fluent or comfortable in English and a Nordic language
