We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy and operations for a pioneering company in the renewable energy sector, based in the Greater Copenhagen area.
Utilizing cutting-edge research and expert insights, our company is crafting a comprehensive, data-centric ecosystem for energy storage and PtX technologies.
Our advanced software solutions aim to refine investment strategies and improve the operational efficiency of energy storage systems.

As our CFO, you will have the unique opportunity to build and shape the financial operations from the ground up.
This role involves hands-on management and execution of various tasks while establishing and expanding the CFO area over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the CEO to shape and direct the company's strategic financial planning.
Manage all financial functions including budgeting, reporting, compliance, and ensuring the integrity of financial operations.
Lead the financial department, ensuring optimal performance in accounting and bookkeeping practices.
Manage the financial planning and execution of long-term growth strategies, supporting major corporate initiatives such as future funding rounds and preparation for an IPO.
Manage inter-company financial transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory, taxation, and VAT obligations.
Provide strategic financial insights to support the executive management team and Board of Directors.
Facilitate the company's engagement in new market entries and trading activities, collaborating closely with technical and trading directors.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years in a senior finance role, preferably within energy trading, commodity trading, or a related sector.
Expertise in accounting, financial controlling, reporting, cash flow management, and compliance.
Proficient with ERP systems, particularly E-Conomic and preferably MS Dynamics Business Central, and knowledgeable in managing public funding and project accounting.
