Chief of Staff

Your key responsibilities

• Drive the annual wheel for CSO and CDO and lead R&D Leadership meetings schedule with responsibility for agenda, action capture and follow-up.
  
• Establish and govern the execution plan for R&D strategy, ensure momentum and coordinate across R&D Leadership functions.
  
• Ensure accountability in R&D leadership team to fulfill commitments.
  
• Collaborate with CSO/CDO to plan and supervise deliverables to the Board of Directors, Science & Innovation Committee, and Global Leadership Team.
  
• Lead critical processes in R&D like budget forecast and tracking, enterprise risk overview, goal setting, etc.
  
• Project Lead/team member for ad-hoc strategic projects from the Strategy Department and CEO office.
  
• Liaise with Chief of Staff network for alignment and collaboration across GLT areas.
  
• Establish effective communication channels and flows for various audiences ensuring all slide-decks are up-to-date and prepared in a timely manner.
  
• This role does not have direct reports.
  

Your qualifications

To excel in this role, we anticipate that you hold the following qualifications:

• Ideally a Scientific or biological background, at least at Master's level.
  
• Preferably consulting experience from a Management Consultancy firm focusing on pharma or a similar position in a pharmaceutical company.
  
• Some background in a supportive role, converting complex information into presentations, and facilitating operational implementation.
  
• Lead thorough and comprehensive analyses and decision-making materials.
  
• Strong organizational skills, execution, and follow-up abilities, along with excellent communication skills.
  
• Interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with individuals at all levels, across functions, cultures, and geographies.
  
• Resilient, confident under pressure, maintaining a positive outlook in challenging situations, and learning from adversities.
  
• Proficient in oral and written English.
