What you will be doing in the role of of Receptionist :
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Providing front desk support, monitoring, and redirecting incoming requests through the call management system as required
Welcoming visitors and/or customers, answering questions (in person and by telephone), responding to inquiries and referring, when necessary, to the appropriate person for resolution
Maintaining building security by following established procedures and protocols including guest sign in and security badge distribution
Email inbox management for the Lakeside Info inbox and Office Administration inbox; distributing emails to the appropriate individuals or responding to inquiries directly
Data or document entry into Lakeside's business system, including but not limited to Quality Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), warehouse documentation or Nuclear specific documents
Assisting in the maintenance of office supply inventory while managing to budget and refilling office supplies in the various mailrooms
Fulfilling internal requests for meeting logistics such as supplies, catering, and room arrangements - this includes physically moving rolling tables to set up meeting rooms to specific settings
Preparation and distribution of both physical and digital mail
Ensuring office equipment and common spaces are maintained in good working order, replenishing supplies as necessary
Digital and physical documentation handling, including but not limited to printing warehouse labels
Capturing meeting minutes and recording action items in appropriate software for Office Administration Team meetings or other meetings, as required
Contributing to the success of internal and external events
Effectively utilizing and communicating through our internal Intranet platform, editing and publishing news, events, and documents.
Utilizing Microsoft Suite applications to analyze and present data
Preparing and distributing promotional items for customers
Adhering to established processes and procedures to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System
Identifying areas of improvement based on organization's strategic direction within areas of responsibility
Participating as needed in special department projects
Other duties as assigned by management






Knowledge and skills required for the role: Currently enrolled or have obtained their College Diploma in Business Administration or similar field
