Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Gen AI consultant for our client.
Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Research and develop state-of-the-art generative AI models using deep learning techniques like transformers, diffusion models, and GANs
• Design and implement efficient training pipelines for large language models and other generative models
• Optimize model architectures, loss functions, and training strategies to improve performance
• Collaborate with data engineers to curate and preprocess high-quality training data
• Integrate generative AI capabilities into existing products and build new AI-powered applications
• Conduct rigorous testing, evaluation, and analysis of developed models
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of generative AI
• Clearly document code, models, and research findings
Requirements
• Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing
• Expertise in Python and common AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Jax
• Experience with generative modeling techniques like transformers, VAEs, GANs, diffusion models
• Solid understanding of optimization algorithms and parallel/distributed computing
• Ability to work with large datasets and handle data preprocessing/cleaning
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• M.S. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field (preferred)
Nice to Have
• Prior experience building and deploying generative AI systems in a production environment
• Knowledge of AI safety, ethics, and responsible AI practices
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or research publications
