SummaryThe Business Development Director, Enterprise (Sales Exec) willbe responsible for leading new business development activities and growingmarket share within Canada.
Works collaboratively with our largest accountsand the Customer Relationship Partner team to drive growth and adoption ofnew services.The Business Development Director, Enterprise will be an integral partof the team, participating in and driving activities that lead to anefficient and successful Employer Solutions division, representing thecompany effectively and supporting TELUS Health corporate objectivesthroughout Canada.
This role also works closely with leaders and teamsacross Account Management, Marketing, Communications, Operations, Financeand others to ensure that agreed campaigns and client proposals aresuccessfully executed in line with that strategy.Responsibilities include:
Develop and manage a strong pipeline to ensure quota targetcoverageMeet quarterly, and annual, financial targetsDevelop direct sales channel through account-based sales model and coldoutreach strategySell well-being solutions through both direct and broker/consultantchannelsEnthusiastically represent LifeWorks in business presentations,relationships, community efforts and general networking activitiesDevelop new broker channel relationships and influence theirdecision-making processesNurture existing partners to develop long-term channelrelationshipsCommunicate professionally, crisply and confidently.
Must be able topassionately articulate the LifeWorks business proposition and ROImodelMaintain responsibility for full sales cycle, from opportunityidentification through to negotiation and close of sale, with a heavy focuson prospectingTo be successful in the Business Development Director role will requirethe following:
Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing or other customer focusacademic curriculum2+ years record of accomplishment of selling business value-drivensoftware solutions and consistently meeting and exceeding annual quotas of$750,000+Demonstrated sales success experience within the human capitalmanagement (HCM) or a closely related industry in Health InsuranceA highly energetic, trusted and influential relationship builder thathas strong attention to detailStrong business acumen, and expert negotiationStrong outreach/cold calling skillsStrong interpersonal skills, and solid written and oral communicationskillsStrong organizational skills, professional maturity, and the ability tothink and act strategicallyExceptional drive, energy and communication/presentation skillsDemonstrates a proactive, entrepreneurial spirit and mindsetAbility to evangelize to and advocate on behalf of channel partners/brokersExperience working with Salesforce or comparable CRMKnowledge of EAP, the Insurance industry or group benefits an asset butnot requiredTravel within the assigned region(s) will be required (primarily GTA /Ontario)
