- Responsibilities
Inspect machinery, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
Trouble shoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems
Perform daily tasks in a safe and workman like manner in accordance with company policies.
Perform JSA safety meeting going over tasks daily
Attend monthly safety meeting
Wire feed and stick welding knowledge
Other related duties as assigned
• Requirements
Have good communications skills
Have problem solving skills
Be available to work in the field and various shifts as directed by supervisor
Field mechanics must be able to work independently with little supervision
Must possess a valid driver s license and have a clean driving record
Must possess own tools
