Our client is an organization in the Appleton area looking for a Controller.
This company is looking for someone with 8+ years of professional accounting experience, 4+ years of supervisory experience, and technology proficient.

This position is onsite.

The salary range for this job is $125k $180k.

The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee all aspects of company s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
Follow established internal controls and accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting principles, applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and Company policies and practices.
Respond effectively to sensitive and confidential inquiries, and exercise individual initiative and discretion in confidential matters.
Manage and maintain the system of financial records management in accordance with established Company procedures and practices.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, year end audits, and analyze results to provide insights.
Lead the annual budgeting processing, working with department leads.
Prepare financial forecasts and update them regularly.
Manage and mentor the accounting and finance team, providing guidance and support for professional development.
Perform special project research, analysis, and reports as assigned.

The Controller will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
8+ years of professional experience with a minimum of 4+ years of supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education & experience.
NetSuite experience preferred.
Background in fully-cycle financial accounting systems and software, practices, and methods.
Strong knowledge of state and local policies, laws, principles, and regulations.
Thorough knowledge of Oracle NetSuite strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of other enterprise-class ERP/MRP systems.
Proficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite programs, including but not limited to Excel analysis, pivot table, and graphics tools.
