King County's Business Resource Center (BRC) is searching for an IT Project Administrator-Journey to join our team!

The Position

As an IT Project Administrator-Journey, you will play a crucial role in gathering requirements and effectively managing assigned projects from initiation to completion. You will have the opportunity to work and collaborate with fellow team members for successful implementation.

SCOPE OF JOB DUTIES - To be considered minimally qualified, applicants must demonstrate a background that provides the knowledge, skills, and ability to:

Provide coordination and communication to project team members and partners.
Develop and maintain project artifacts including schedules and active project lists.
Lead efforts to derive and execute tasks as outlined in the project schedule.
Facilitate kick-off and requirements meetings for all contract related projects.
Perform project management activities to ensure successful completion of projects.
Identify issues and document as process improvement initiatives.

Possess exceptional communications and organizational skills to effectively manage projects.
Demonstrate the ability to successfully lead multiple projects.
Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of project and change management processes.
Time management and organizational skills
Skill in guiding group discussions

Extensive project administration skills
Strong ability to organize and plan assigned projects.
Knowledge of labor contract and project management process.
A customer service-focus approach, actively fostering and nurturing positive relationships with agencies and staff.
Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic and multifaceted work environment.
Effectively engage and sustain relationships with individuals from diverse cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.
Advanced proficiency with business applications, including the Microsoft Office suite.
Project management experience including coordination of team members, subject matter experts and stakeholders.
Familiarity with PeopleSoft HR or equivalent Human Resources systems; OR any equivalent combination of experience and education which provides the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge, and ability required to perform the work.
