McKown Pressure Wash, Painting, and Contracting is looking for a skilled Carpenter with a keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in basic construction techniques. As a member of our team, you will contribute to various construction and carpentry projects, utilizing your expertise to meet and exceed our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials, including roofing, siding, for construction projects.
Operate a range of power tools including air compressors, saws, drills, and hammers efficiently and safely.
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately determine the specifications of a project.
Perform detailed carpentry work to the highest standards of quality and precision, including decks, stairs, windows, doors, capping, interior and exterior projects, etc.
Ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner while adhering to safety regulations.
Work independently on projects with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all client specifications and expectations are met.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, managing tools and materials effectively.
Participate in ladder work and other physically demanding tasks as required.

The ideal candidate should possess:

5+ years proven experience in commercial and residential Carpentry with a portfolio of completed projects.
Proficient in using various construction tools including tape measures, speed squares, air tools, and power tools.
Ability to read and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturers specifications.
Independent worker able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Strong focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to work well within a team.
Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Comfortable with ladder work and the physical demands of the carpentry trade.

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm

Servicing the entire Coastal Virginia area
