Pay Range: $18.80 / per hour

Shift: 4pm-12am (Monday - Friday)

A Material Handler Entry level is responsible for operating powered pallet jacks/Forklifts to supply assembly lines with needed material for on time day to day production.

Primary duties and responsibilities include the following: Follow all safety guidelines and participate as a fully-empowered team member to achieve organization-wide goal of zero incidents.
Be able to read and follow day to day production schedules.
Positions forks, or other lifting device under, over or around pallets and transport load to designated area.
Inventories materials on work floor and supplies workers with materials, as needed
Help in coordinating and verifying materials between dept.
Store, count, move, mark and issue materials in accordance with assembly department processes and procedures, either verbal or written.
Requirements

What You'll Need:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Prior experience using a powered pallet jack/forklift.

Material handling experience a plus. Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a standing position for a minimum 8 hours or more per shift.
Frequent walking, squatting, turning, twisting, pushing, bending, etc. in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment.
Excellent attendance-must be reliable and punctual.
Must be willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
