CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an Employee-Owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking an Employment Resource Coordinator for DOL TAP (Department of Labor Transition Assistance Program). Each year, an estimated 200,000 servicemen and women separate from the United States military; resulting in new Veterans returning to civilian life. The Employment Resource Coordinator supports Off Base Transition Training (OBTT) by coordinating employment workshops with state and local agencies as well as setting up events, presenting information briefs, conducting counseling sessions, marketing, and communicating with DOL and other interagency partners.
In this role, you will:
•Assist in the creation and implementation of OBTT Memoranda of Agreement (MOA)
•Coordinate with MOA signatories to schedule and host brick and mortar OBTT workshops at select sites or support employment efforts to OBTT participants
•Coordinate with other state and local stakeholders that desire to schedule and host brick and mortar OBTT workshops at select sites
•Coordinate with state Adjutants General in pilot states to expand employment services provided to their members
•Coordinate with state Directors of Veterans Affairs in pilot states to expand employment services provided to veterans being served by County Veteran Service Officers
