At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Maintenance Mechanic based in West Jordan, UT!Maintenance Mechanics support plant operations by maintaining plant equipment in the Packaging department to meet and/or exceed the business unit's goals and objectives in safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and customer service. The Maintenance Mechanic ensures operations of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative & corrective maintenance requirements on various types of industrial equipment.

The base compensation range for this position is $33.34 - $38.06 per hour commensurate with experience plus an overnight shift differential of $1.25/hr. This position will work on Night Shift on a 2-3-2 rotating schedule from 06:
00 PM to 06:
30 AM.

About YouPrevious Manufacturing Experience is preferred.Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

You must have the ability to:

Read and write, interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Comprehend basic math and simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Understand instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.

Operate powered industrial equipment and navigate in tight spaces and high-traffic areas in a fast-paced environment.
Operate a computer to enter and retrieve data.
Prepare and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees within the organization.
