Job Summary VSolvit is looking for a candidate to join our dynamic Business Development team as a Junior ProposalManagerresponsibleforlowtomidlevelcomplexityinformationtechnologyprofessionalservicesproposals tothefederalgovernment.Thispositioninterfaces withassignedbusiness units orfunctionalareas,leveragingtheir experience to ease the development of information to support proposal submission.The Junior Proposal Manager supports the creation and preparation of company proposals, ensuring timeliness and accuracy to RFI/RFQ/RFP/Solicitation instructions Their responsibilities revolve around producing proposal documentation, followingupontaskstovariousdepartments,andprocessingallassignedactions.Thispositionwillreceivementoring for information technology services and government proposal development best practices from more experienced proposal managers.
The candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to changing priorities and needs supporting capture managers, other proposal managers and executives.
The candidate must be highly organized, attentive to detail, comfortable supporting multiple/simultaneous proposal development assignments, deliver measurable results on a daily basis, and be able to work independently in a remote work environment.
Candidates for this position must be eligible to attain a security clearance.
The ideal candidate will be based from and work at our Chesapeake, VA office location.
