Job Details:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Emergency Room RN to join our dynamic team. This full-time, permanent role is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment, where you will be a key player in providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the emergency department and acute care settings, with the ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions quickly.

Responsibilities:
As an Emergency Room RN, you will be responsible for:

Providing immediate and effective medical care to patients in emergency situations, including initial assessment, planning, and management of care.
Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including doctors, paramedics, and medical assistants.
Implementing and maintaining patient care plans, and documenting all necessary observations and treatments.
Supervising and evaluating nursing care provided to patients, ensuring the highest level of care is consistently delivered.
Coordinating discharge planning with social workers, case managers, and other team members.
Managing resources effectively, ensuring the emergency department runs smoothly and efficiently.
Participating in ongoing professional development and maintaining current knowledge of best practices in emergency nursing.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

A current, valid Utah RN license.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in an emergency department or acute care setting.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Proven experience in assessing, planning, supervising, and evaluating nursing care.
Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and improving patient outcomes.
