Description

R1 is working on building software application platforms which will be handling health care Revenue cycle management of health care providers across the country. We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager, who will be part of the team developing these platforms.

Key duties & responsibilities

Primary focus on developing new products and delivering new feature/functionality and enhancements.
Lead and collaborate with other developers in the team, along with product managers on daily basis to identify the right technical solutions that achieve product goals.
Proficient in ensuring quality code is delivered from your team and products are delivered with business drivers in mind.
Being able to teach and reinforce best practices, standards, and OWASP based secure code.
Led a team of at least 5+ developers within Agile methodology.
Feel comfortable participating in a fast-paced 2-week sprint development cycles.
Lead peer review, unit check ins, code release check points, and other key orchestration within the Dev team.

Experience, Skills And Knowledge

Strong knowledge of .Net Frameworks with proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework and Web API
Strong Full Stack with Angular experience is a big plus
In-depth knowledge of SQL and NoSQL Databases and Azure Managed SQL.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure stack and Azure Cloud (App Services, Azure Storage Accounts, App Insights, Data Factory and Data Bricks).
Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (Jira, Bitbucket, GIT)

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Systems Engineering or equivalent Experience.

4 - 6 years of software development leadership experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Able to quickly learn new systems and technology.

Understanding/Experience with Healthcare Services, PHI, PCI, and data security.

Microsoft Azure certifications would be preferable but not mandatory.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $125,000.20 - $165,732.00 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
