Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a PM&P DMSMS Engineer / Principal PM&P DMSMS Engineer.
This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.
This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.What You ll Get To Do:
Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:
Candidate will be responsible to perform full spectrum of corrosion management tasks on assigned system and sub-systems to ensure streamlined risk identification, risk mitigation, and tracking of corrosion issues during the design of weapon systems and equipment under an overarching Systems Engineering framework.
Candidate will develop/maintain/review & approve Process Specs, Design Drawings, Corrosion Prevention and Control Plans (CPCPs), PPSLs, PAMPLs of all design teams and their major sub suppliers and perform issue tracking and risk mitigation for all corrosion issues.
Candidate will review and process materials approval request forms and for research specifications and standards to support metals and corrosion engineering processes.
Research technical, corrosion data sources using Government and commercial sources.
Review and evaluate engineering solutions, design, and technical data for corrosion impacts.
Follow Systems Engineering disciplines and processes.
Assist in the Hexavalent Chromium prevention process.
Applicant will be expected to maintain close coordination with several integrated product teams, provide detailed status to program leadership, participate in Corrosion Prevention and Advisory Board meetings, as required.
Candidate will be self-motivated, work under general direction, and work well in teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is essential.
Candidate must be able to obtain and sustain a Secret Security Clearance.Position Benefits:

Required for the PM&P Engineer:
Bachelor s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 2 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 0 years of experience with Master's degreeRequired for the Principal PM&P Engineer:
Bachelor s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 5 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience with Master's degreeRequired for Both Levels:
Must be a U.S.
Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance Must be eligible to obtain Enhanced Security Clearances within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs 4+ years of experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree in parts management obsolescence experience OR related professional/military experience working in an Engineering, Technical or supply chain position, experience with Air Force Global Strike Command Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools Strong Communication skills (will need to write technical emails and be able to present technical data to personnel with various backgrounds) Excellent interpersonal skillsThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Special Program Access Active DoD Secret security clearance Working knowledge of various NASA & Military performance documents required for the selection and screening of Space-level parts, including MIL-PRF-38534(Hybrids), MIL-PRF-38535 (microcircuits), MIL-PRF-19500 (semiconductors), MIL-PRF-123 (capacitors), M55342 (resistors), and various electrical interconnect systems.

$56,600 - $85,000Salary Range 2:
