The Math Tutor assists students in all colleges including the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences with Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus I and II, and Introduction to Probability and Statistics coursework during the 2024-2025 year.
The Math utor reports to Math Tutoring Lab Coordinator.
This is a student position open to current UIW students.
Essential Functions Provide support and tutoring knowledge in a small or large group or individual setting.
Share knowledge of course materials in selected coursework.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Knowledge Skills and Abilities Professional verbal and written communication skills are essential with attention to detail.
Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
Required Education Successful completion of college level Algebra, Calculus I, Calculus II, and Introduction .
