The Student Assistant for Accounts Payable will help support the Accounts Payable Office by performing clerical duties and other duties assigned.
The Student Assistant for Accounts Payable reports to Senior Accounts Payable Technician.
Current UIW student approved and eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study program.
Essential Functions Essential functions include:
Open, review and sort incoming mail.
Release checks to departments, obtaining appropriate signatures.
Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to:
scanning, faxing, photocopying, mailing, and filing.
Scan and index documents into the Banner System.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Knowledge Skills and Abilities Self-motivated.
Ability to file alphabetically and proficient in spelling.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to use basic office equipment, copy machine, computer, answer phones.
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
