YOUR DAY TO DAY:

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing software development.
Project planning, tasking, and monitoring of activities.
Prototyping/proofing of architecture concepts.
Administer software development tools.
Set policies branching/code review/etc for the developers.

Linux Operating Systems Activities Build operating systems for various products (CentOS7, Rocky8)
Both VMS and Bare hardware
Generating/building rpms needed for the Antenna systems M&C software.

Monitoring and Control Software (M&C) Development M&C Software Development and Support
Database design
M&C Software Applications including antenna hardware management, scheduling, data ingest, processing, etc.
Customer systems integration.

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:

Bachelor's degree in engineering BSCS or BSSE or its equivalent
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Experience Linux skills.
Software and scripting skills (PERL, PYTHON, C+), server-side skills.
Able to think creatively.
Proficient understanding of engineering processes and engineering design tools.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Accurate and strong attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office and popular design software.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Highly skilled in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions.
Excellent independent judgement and ability to handle complex problems.

This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
The successful candidate must be a "U.S.
Person" as defined under ITAR and EAR.
In order to be a U.S.
Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C.
