*Finishing Painter*
Nashville, TN US Regular Full Time *Job Summary:* The Finishing Painter at Gibson performs hand spraying on guitars. In charge of making sure all paint and lacquer finishing is up to company standards. Keeping paint booths and E-stat equipment clean and investigating any quality issues that may arise.
*Essential Functions:*
* Adhere to finishing standards when painting guitars.
* Use E-stat spray gun to produce an even coat on all products.
* Document any modification to the material. (adding EEP)
* Ensure the paint equipment is cleaned properly.
* Inspect finishing room for safety violations.
* 5S area and conduct layered audits.
* Paint Vault Check List is in use and up to date for compliance.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Required Skills/Abilities:*
* Painting (E-stat sprayer) experience is required.
* Strong attention to detail.
*Education and Experience:*
* Results oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan.
* Must be 18 years of age or older.
*Physical Demands:*
* Must be able to stand all day and lift guitars throughout the day.
