Role Description:

We are searching for a Data Analyst to join STRs Marketing, Design and Communications team. The ideal candidate should be innovative with a data-driven approach to help shape our marketing strategy and uncover opportunities for growth. Given the scale and scope of our marketing, from industry-defining cross-platform ad campaigns to large-scale CRM efforts, the ideal candidate is ready to attack complex, interesting, and impactful questions. You will be responsible for the entire program, including data flow, in-depth analysis, ad-hoc reporting, and self-serve dashboard creation. Were looking for an experienced candidate ready to provide expertise and leadership to ensure STR campaigns and initiatives are well-planned, well-communicated, and well-executed. Collaboration is key, and this position will be working closely with key stakeholders. Partnership with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure delivery of information needed to run a successful campaign will be critical.

This person can sit in either our Hendersonville, TN (Nashville suburb) or Cleveland, OH and offers a hybrid schedule of 4 days a week onsite with 1 day remote.

Responsibilities:

Integration of strategic direction and marketing analytics
Define campaign target audiences.
Generate audience insights to inform marketing activity.
Devise the measurement schema for campaigns (i.e., define objectives/key results, tracking requirements, etc.)
Project performance based on benchmarks and goals
Lead generation and full-cycle analysis from first interaction to close of sale.
Work with Sales team to improve the hit rate of prospecting calls and Sales Qualified Lead volume
Curate an automated lead scoring process
Devise processes to trigger sales prospecting calls.
Incorporate sales prospecting results into Marketing Qualified Leads and Sales Qualified Lead processes to refine and improve efforts.
Work with sales analytics to track conversion results and build attribution / influence models which help direct our marketing investments.
Ability to anticipate and respond to client requirements and a genuine desire to exceed expectations at a global level.
The position requires someone with flexible work hours due to interaction with global offices.
Partner across the business to support marketing programs and growth goals, report on performance, determine measurement approaches, create insights, and set strategy for new challenges.
Management of marketing distribution lists for targeted campaigns and sales prospecting
Build and expand dashboards to surface insights and democratize data that empowers marketers and product teams to make decisions.
Perform exploratory analyses on large volumes of data; extract, package, and present recommendations to inform decisions.
Work closely with the digital marketing manager to redefine success metrics and measurement plans that explain the incremental impact of marketing campaigns.
Translate business questions into appropriate analytical projects that will inform strategic and tactical business decisions. Conduct end-to-end analysis autonomously and communicate insights effectively.
Identify and communicate insights to management and cross-functional stakeholders for better decision making.
Act as a business partner to teams within marketing to understand, analyze, and provide quantitative insight into their business.

Qualifications:

3+ years experience in a Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or relevant data-driven role
Mastery of SQL, experience with Python, BI reporting, and databases (dimensional and relational), including data ingestion and transformation.
Experience with Google Data Studio or similar data visualization tools
Experience extracting data from Pardot, Marketing Cloud or a similar Marketing Automation platform.
Ability to transform data into a digestible and presentable story based on different audiences.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proactive, resourceful, and gritty, when you have a goal, you find a way to meet it.
A team player with project management skills and high attention to detail
An analytical and growth-oriented mindset
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
Bachelors degree required/Masters degree preferred.
