Own all aspects of part management as it relates to sourcing.
Requires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant purchasing and sourcing concepts.
Lead fulfillment activities to support internal priorities. Roles and ResponsibilitiesLead weekly fulfillment execution activities with broader team.
Execute and own the fulfillment process from order creation to invoice.
Manage orders and meet with internal teams weekly to review priorities and provide status updates on open orders.
Leverage strategic internal relationships to effectively interface with engineering, operations, and other internal teams.
Meet with vendors regularly to review metrics, address pending actions, and align open orders to meet fulfillment priorities.
Monitor orders to ensure suppliers are shipping on-time and expedite as needed.
Coordinate transportation mode with fulfillment and logistics teams.
Support resolution of supplier quality issues for inbound receipts.
Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time deliverables and proper communication.
Manage part obsolescence, qualifications, and/or other related product changes as needed.
Balance both tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive on-time execution and achieve cost out.
Serve as the subject matter expert and sourcing point of escalation within sourcing.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Sourcing).Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Buying/Procurement.Desired CharacteristicsProven analytical, critical thinking and operational skillsAbility to switch between strategic and detail oriented thinkingDiligent problem solving & issue resolution skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsExcellent presentation skills and ability to communicate concisely and effectively.Flexibility to adapt to fast-paced and rapidly changing environments and stay focused under pressure.Strong Microsoft Office skills and comfortable working with large data setsThe salary range for this position is 75,750.00 - 126,250.00 USD Annual .The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
