Key Responsibilities:
EDI System Management:
Oversee the configuration, administration, and maintenance of the EDI systems, primarily Sterling Integrator.
Ensure smooth operation of all EDI processes, including data mapping, translation, and communication protocols.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise, implementing timely solutions to minimize disruptions.
Integration Development:
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design, develop, and implement EDI integrations.
Create and modify maps, workflows, and business processes within Sterling Integrator to facilitate seamless data exchange.
Customize and extend EDI capabilities to meet specific business requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Messaging Layer Expertise:
Utilize expertise in messaging layer technologies such as AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, etc., to establish secure and reliable communication channels.
Configure and optimize messaging protocols to ensure efficient data transmission and adherence to security standards.
Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in messaging layer technologies, incorporating relevant advancements into EDI systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience working with EDI systems, particularly Sterling Integrator, in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python) for automation and customization tasks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Relevant certifications such as IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Sterling Integrator or similar, are a plus.
Prior experience with other EDI platforms and messaging layer technologies will be advantageous.
