The Analyst, Credit Servicing (QC / Regulatory) reviews the mortgage loan files and executes the revision of the documentation within the established timeline ascertaining that the documents are in accordance with the originated/closed and servicing, mortgage loan category and following the investors' requirements by using the applicable checklist (FHA, FNMA, Freddie Mac, VA, Rural, Conventional, etc.).
Position will be working hybrid based in Oriental Center building, San Juan, PR.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform monthly and quarterly reviews in the required time according to investors, likes new loan setup, paid in full, servicing transfer, escrow analysis, mortgage insurance, flood y FHA 203k loans.
• Analyze the loan file documentation to determine category exception to ensure quality and compliance of the mortgage units with QC program guidelines.
• Manage the answers of the areas and follow-ups of the draft reports.
Also validate the different action plans.
• Management and monitoring of systems and sample selections.
• Review of the customer services claims and bring assistance if is necessary to the monthly delinquency review.
• Reports to Supervisor or Manager, the exceptions identified during the review process.
• Ensure compliance with state laws and federal regulations that apply including:
BSA, and all other regulatory, security and bank policies and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Associate degree in business administration or related field required.
• Two (2) years of experience in the mortgage operations, servicing and/or regulatory aspects.
• Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Superior communication skills to communicate across a broad base of internal & external stakeholders.
• Excellent communications skills written, in both English and Spanish required.
