The Undersea Systems Office at the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking several highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students for research opportunities. These positions cover a broad range of academic and engineering disciplines in all aspects of undersea vehicle development.

Applicants with a strong interest and experience in the following will be given preference:

Signal processing
Data fusion
Autonomous control
Modeling and simulation
Software development
Visualization development
System optimization

The successful candidates will work 40 hours/week over the summer and 20 hours/week during the fall and spring semesters.

Students in their junior or senior year majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Physics or related degree are encouraged to apply.

You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
