We are seeking an experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The chosen candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge and expertise, particularly in areas such as Maintenance, PLCs, AC/DC, and conveyors. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
2. Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, including but not limited to PLCs, conveyors, and AC/DC motors.
3. Performing preventive maintenance tasks to avoid potential breakdowns and malfunctions.
4. Assisting in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
5. Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
6. Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and making adjustments.
7. Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
8. Documenting all maintenance and repair work done, including parts used and time spent on each task.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in maintaining and repairing PLCs, AC/DC motors, and conveyors.
3. Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machines and tools.
4. Proficient in the use of various hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment.
5. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Good physical condition and endurance to perform strenuous tasks.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
9. A high school diploma or equivalent; a diploma from a vocational school or a degree in industrial maintenance is a plus.
