The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs to buildings, facilities, and equipment.
Position Summary:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repair and maintain buildings.Perform general maintenance using basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, appliance repair, and electrical wiring.Complete set-ups and tear down for scheduled campus events.Operate and maintain tools used in the maintenance and repair of building facilities.Perform on call duties as needed/assigned.Remove snow with shovels, blowers, and plows when necessary.Provide logistical support for campus activities and maintain a campus environment that is safe, clean, and conducive to learning.Assist fire drill, lockdown, and other safety exercises.Assist in managing traffic flow and parking throughout campus.
Perform other duties as assigned.

3 years of experience in general maintenance3 years of experience in one or more building tradesExperience in CMMS software program(s) Must submit to a Motor Vehicle Check and maintain a valid driver s license.High school or equivalent (Required)Possess a high level of discretion and the ability to problem solve and think quickly on your feet.Enjoy working independently and within a team structure.Flexible, dependable and takes ownership of work.Possess time management, communication, and organizational skills.Must be flexible, friendly, and able to handle difficult situations.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
