Position Overview
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and secure operation of our Parts & Equipment warehouses. This role will maintain operational excellence, through strategic development of people, processes, and software in compliance with Dutch Bros policies and objectives.
Job Qualifications
5+ years of warehouse experience, supply chain management, logistics, or other related field, required
Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other related software and technology
Proven experience in warehouse operations management, inventory management, and team leadership
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations
This position is required to drive, when necessary
Location Requirement:
This position is located in Melissa, Texas and requires 5 days/week in the warehouse
Responsible for oversight and management of warehouse operations:
Ensure safe, efficient, and secure operation of parts and equipment warehouses
Develop and implement warehouse processes and procedures to optimize productivity and minimize errors
Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
Design, audit, and implement processes and procedures to ensure operational excellence:
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve operational excellence in warehouse operations
Evaluate and select appropriate warehouse management software to streamline operations and improve data accuracy
Identity and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction
Oversee and lead warehouse team(s) and ensure continuous improvement:
Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team fostering a positive and productive work environment
Train and mentor team members on warehouse operations, safety protocols and best practices
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in warehouse operations to drive innovation and efficiency
Monitor and analyze industry trends and advancements in warehouse management systems to recommend and implement process improvements
Other duties as assigned
Skills
Leadership and Management: Strong leadership skills to oversee and guide warehouse staff, set strategic goals, and ensure efficient operations.
Strategic Planning: The ability to develop and implement strategic plans for warehouse operations, including optimizing workflows, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges in warehouse processes, inventory management, and logistics.
Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication skills to interact with team members, upper management, suppliers, and other stakeholders. This includes both written and verbal communication.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to analyze data related to inventory levels, order fulfillment, and warehouse performance, and use insights to make informed decisions.
Team Building and Motivation: The ability to build a cohesive and motivated warehouse team, foster a positive work environment, and address any personnel issues effectively.
Regulatory Compliance and Safety: Knowledge of and adherence to regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations, as well as a commitment to safety protocols and the ability to enforce them.
Physical Requirements
Occasionally move or lift office items
Must be able to work in an office environment
Must be able to communicate in an effective manner to perform job duties
Vision must be good or corrected in order to perform essential job duties
Hearing must be good or corrected in order to have the ability to understand information to perform essential job duties
Ability to read and write in English in order to process paperwork and follow up on any actions necessary
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculators, copy machines, computers, and office equipment
Compensation:
$80,333.92 - DOE
