Overview

Join us as a Machinist and see how your variety of routine and non-routine machining make a difference and how critical it is to helping us deliver on our purpose and achieve our goals. Element is searching for a self-motivated, mechanically inclined person to add to the Machine shop. This role will be responsible for operating various Machine Shop equipment in the production process.

4:30pm-1am, 2nd shift - $1 shift diff added to salary

Salary: $20-$26/hr

Responsibilities

Willing to train

Set-up, Operate and Monitor CNC and conventional machinery to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner, including machining a variety of samples to close tolerances
Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, operating instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals
Select, Align, and Secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials on machines
Ability to use of machine tools and inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers

Skills / Qualifications

This is a fast-paced environment, and we need someone who is proactive, self-motivated and a team player. The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge. You will:

HS diploma or GED required
Experience using basic hand tools
Previous shop experience a plus
Technical/vocational training in related field a plus
WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE
