About the team

The Level 1 NOC tech is responsible for any non-transactional or banking traffic (user, replication, etc.) within the data center. The NOC will support this function by monitoring all devices from Edge routers down to the core to ensure stability. Any time connectivity is lost, it is the NOC's responsibility to ensure rapid troubleshooting and carrier escalation takes place. The NOC works with multiple technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and F5 to name a few. From time to time, the NOC will also be responsible to make corrective changes in the event of an outage.

What you will be doing:

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health of the Worldpay network, and its clients. You will be equipped with the tools to monitor and identify faults in the network. Once identified, you will then need to use standard network troubleshooting skills to either resolve or move the incident towards resolution.

What you bring:

Previous experience and training on Cisco and/or Juniper technologies.
A fundamental understanding of how to perform network changes.
Ability to multitask
A go-getter. The ideal candidate will think outside the box to identify potential root causes.
Relevant work experience within the IT field.

Added bonus if you have:

A bachelor's degree in an IT, or equivalent foundation of study.
Cisco CCNA or equivalent
ITIL Foundational
ServiceNow experience

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $26.70 - $43.51 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
