You will be responsible for establishing product vision and driving execution to establish the future of The Walt Disney Company s advertising needs through unified data and reporting capabilities.
The right person for this role must be self-motivated with demonstrated knowledge of video advertising, data product management, and delivery management throughout the ads lifecycle.
If you are someone who can drive strategy, create data driven experiences and brings a passion for building the future of advertising technology, at a fast pace, this is a great role for youKey ResponsibilitiesWork with our Ad Platforms Product and Data Engineering teams as a data expert to drive the strategy and implementation details for ads data products, keeping business stakeholder needs at the forefrontContribute to the data product roadmap and drive delivery of advertising data and analytics initiatives, aligning stakeholders and driving resultsDetermine product prioritization, including value identification, architectural complexity, cost savings and progress against the broader business strategy, within your specific areaMaintain expected standards across the team for product specifications, backlog health, and consumable user stories for engineering partnersProduct owner for a Scrum team by participating agile ceremonies, responsible for prioritization, backlog refinement, and feature definitionCollaborate with other product managers to drive innovation in platform services including ad serving, measurement, operational data store and BIPartner with the Ad Sales teams to define and iterate on business critical data productsPartner with the Platform Operations team to optimize the ongoing health and financial viability of our product linePartner with engineering organization to execute against the product roadmap, delivering on the needs of the businessHold a deep compassion for our users, and creatively tackle problems with a viewer-first mentalityQualifications5+ years of product management experience, highly preferred from established technology or digital media companyStrong knowledge for data, analytics and enablement of online platforms or service including expertise with SQL and various business intelligence tools such as Microstrategy, Tableau etc.Strong technical diagramming and documentation skills.Proven experience in a product role with the ability to demonstrate a record of successAbility to interact with a diverse set of tech and non-tech partnersAbility to collaborate, and deliver solutions in a sophisticated, always-changing environmentExcellent communication skillsThe hiring range for this position in New York is $149,000 to $199,870 per year and in California is $142,600-$191,100 per year.
The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
