Sr Project Manager

Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Senior Project Manager is to lead a team of designers, developers, and testers in the delivery of online gaming products that meet customer's expectations. This position will work with diverse teams both locally and abroad and will interact with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership. This position will report to the Director of Program Management and is expected to perform all job responsibilities at a senior level with limited direct supervision.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with Company and departmental policies, practices, and procedures. All Company Team Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. Team Members are required to observe the Company's standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lead a team of designers, developers, and testers in the delivery of online gaming products that meet customer's expectations.
Lead the team in developing the product backlog, including features and requirements.
Assess project risks, making decisions to mitigate them, and communicating those decisions to stakeholders.
Communicate with the client throughout the project to ensure they are aware of the project status and any potential risks.
Ensure projects stay on track by monitoring task completion and providing feedback to developers as needed.
Communicate with customers or other stakeholders regarding project goals and progress.
Manage the project schedule and identify potential risks or issues that could affect the project schedule or cost.
Provide guidance and training to team members on agile development best practices, such as Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Coach and mentoring other Scrum masters on the team.
Act as the Scrum master for the team.
Work with the QA lead and testing team to ensure thorough testing of modules/applications/interfaces.
Play a role in performance management by providing personal feedback to senior team members.
Develop and manage project schedules and resources using Agile methodology for projects of various sizes.
Monitor the performance of cross-functional teams, vendors, and company resources.
Actively develop and manage project plans specifying objectives, strategy, and schedule, as well as risk identification, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
Facilitate open communication between teams, and cross-functional units within the organization to identify dependencies between development teams and identify risks early and often.
Manage the budget for each sprint or release cycle, ensuring that it does not exceed the available budget.
Design, Develop, and Implement Secure Software Solutions:
Build software applications with a focus on security from the ground up. Use best practices in encryption, access control, identity management, and other security requirements to design and implement robust applications.
Security Risk Analysis:
Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the software through methods such as threat modeling, code reviews, and other risk assessment techniques. Propose and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
Maintain Security Compliance:
Understand and adhere to regulatory security requirements and industry standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or PCI-DSS. Ensure that the company's software products are in full compliance.
Incident Response:
Work with the cybersecurity team to respond to security incidents effectively and efficiently. This could include performing root cause analysis, remediation, and contributing to process improvements that prevent future incidents.
Security Training and Advocacy:
Promote security awareness across the team and organization. Contribute to the training of staff on secure coding practices and the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
Security Tooling and Automation:
Implement and use security tools for automated code analysis, vulnerability detection, and intrusion detection. Regularly update and refine these tools based on the changing security landscape.
Secure DevOps (SecDevOps) Practices:
Apply SecDevOps principles to ensure security throughout the development lifecycle. This could involve secure coding, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated security checks.
Cybersecurity Research:
Keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, mitigation measures, and industry trends. Apply this knowledge to continually improve the company's cybersecurity posture.
Perform job duties in a safe manner.
Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications At least 21 years of age.
Proof of authorization to work in the United States.
Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent professional experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy.
5 to 7 years' work experience in project management.
Demonstrates understanding of multi-tier software architecture.
Experience working with waterfall, agile, and mixed development methodologies.
Experience working within functional and matrix organizational structures is strongly preferred.

Proven record of delivering projects on time and in budget.
Experience in the online gaming or casino industry strongly preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications including advanced knowledge of MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
Experience with Jira and Miro preferred.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both in spoken and written form.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact appropriately with management, other Team Members and outside contacts of different backgrounds and levels of experience.

Utilize laptop and standard keyboard to perform essential functions of the job.
