THE JOB:

As a Facilities Technician (Engineer), it is your primary responsibility to conduct predictive maintenance, reactive repairs, and installations across all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems within the plant and building. You must adhere strictly to federal, state, and local laws, regulations, as well as departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures to always uphold facility integrity.

STARTING RATE:$35.78 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Perform routine to complex maintenance and repair work on all mechanical and electrical equipment and systems throughout the property, including the kitchen central plant and pool operations.
Complete all jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management and maintain accurate logbooks.
Operate power and hand tools proficiently to complete assigned tasks.
Utilize diagnostic tools such as Amp Meters, Voltmeters, OHM meters, compound gauges, and pressure gauges to diagnose and resolve power and gas issues.
Read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics to install and service electrical components effectively.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the property layout, hotel rooms, and equipment.
Keep informed on current techniques and technical methods, promptly reporting any unusual conditions to the Shift Supervisor.
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and accident prevention throughout the property, using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Preform other job-duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Two (2) years of prior relevant experience in the hospitality industry or similar environment.

PREFERRED:

Preferred experience in kitchen maintenance, including familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and systems.
Experience with central plant operations, including HVAC systems, boilers, and related mechanical equipment.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or equivalent experience in maintaining and operating pool facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
