*General Summary of Job Duties*
As a Chinese Station Cook you will be supporting the Palm Court Grill.
*Essential Job Function and Duties*
* Be responsible for preparing menu items as directed by the recipes provided by the Sous Chef and or Executive Chef.
* Create all delightful stir fry dishes.
* Be responsible for making sure your work area is well stocked with all sauces, fresh veggies and meats to create a variety of wok recipes.
* Be responsible for quality and proportion size.
* Ensure that the quality and presentation of food products meet company standards.
* Work at least one station, maintaining the highest quality in finished product.
* Disinfect and sanitize cutting boards and worktables.
* Ensure kitchen and Health Department sanitation requirements are maintained.
* Ensure that no food leaves the kitchen without a ticket, including managers meals.
*Skills, Education and Other Requirements*
* Must have 3 to 5 years of previous restaurant cooking experience.
* Prior experience working with a wok, prepping and cooking.
* Ability to maintain clean personal hygiene.
* Ability to follow instructions.
* Ability to successfully work in fast paced environment.
* Knowledge of Asian dishes is a plus.
* Must have job related tools.
* Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
