Accounting Manager

What You Will Do:

Oversee and manage operational accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial reporting.

Manage multiple direct reports under the accounts receivable and accounts payable team

Proficient in providing support and assistance where necessary with the daily operations and tasks of the team.

Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support informed decision-making.

Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to the CFO and executive leadership team.

Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and systems

Skills and Experience You Will Need:

Required:

Experience in a financial leadership role, with a track record of success in managing complex financial operations and leading high-performing teams.

Experience and proficiency with MS Excel and QuickBooks software.

Excellent leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and develop teams of finance professionals.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Experience in a technology or software company is a plus.

Thorough understanding of applicable laws, guidelines, and policies.

Ability to multitask, effectively present information, and respond to requests in a timely manner.

Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on actual job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer

Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed

Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)

Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.

Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.
