Resource will provide support for Customer Cloud Platform and projects
Brief
The position will be responsible for performance analysis and capacity planning to ensure the Customer Cloud can support new projects. He or she will identify and/or react to problems related to the technology infrastructure supporting the Customer Cloud environments. This candidate must have the ability to demonstrate a broad knowledge level across multiple areas of information technology. The candidate will also be involved as a key team member on strategic or enterprise-wide technology solutions. The candidate is expected to collaborate with peers and resources in other departments to complete projects and any items related to the role.

Additional Skills:

• Hands on experience with hypervisor and compute virtualization technologies (VMware, VSphere, VCenter, VCloud, Vmware View, Microsoft Hyper-V, Redhat KVM, Citrix XenServer XenDesktop and XenApp).
• Experience in Architecture, Design, and Implementation of highly scalable, highly available, Cloud (IaaS & PaaS & Saas) services and solutions.
• Experience in Network and Storage virtualization.
• Experience with Elastic Scaling and Automated Application Deployment on cloud solutions.
• Experience with integration of infrastructure virtualization solutions with other platform technologies (i.e. Storage, Server, Network, Active Directory, Database other operating systems).
• Strong knowledge on Server platforms:
HP, Cisco Unified Computing Systems, Dell, IBM server infrastructure.
• Understanding of Security Standards and concepts
• Strong knowledge on Storage platforms:
Storage Area Networking (SAN), Network Attached Storage (DAS) and SSD - NetApp, EMC, Hitachi, Fujitsu, Brocade, FusionIO etc.
• Strong knowledge on Data Center Infrastructure:
Cisco Nexus, high-end data center LAN switches, load balancers, firewalls, power and cooling.
