Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Full Stack Engineer with experience in Java, Spring boot microservices, and AWS, developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for our Cards & Payments platform.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough code reviews and optimizing application performance.
• Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information.
• Design and develop scalable solutions using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3 for the backend.
• Create dynamic and responsive web applications using React JS.
• Integrate Restful APIs to connect front-end and back-end components seamlessly.
• Utilize AWS services to deploy and manage application infrastructure efficiently.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and frameworks to incorporate into the development process.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure alignment to industry best practices and company standards.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and providing user support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.
• Overall, 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot 3, Restful APIs, and AWS.
• Strong understanding of the Cards & Payments domain is essential.
• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Experience with software development methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Salary and compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $95K - $140K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
