About the Job:
Performs all aspects of Diagnostic Radiology under the direction of a registered Radiologic Technologist by producing high quality images and providing compassion and comfort to all patients.
What Youll Do:
Performs exams in Diagnostic Radiology including trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopic, contrast exams and invasive procedures under the direction of a registered Radiologic Technologist
Prepares and administers IV, oral and rectal contrast as indicated by protocol
Demonstrates proficiency with computer systems such as RIS and PACS
Student Radiologic Technologist may also function as a Tech Aide in the CAT Scan Department and provide the following assistant to the CT Technologist: Transports patients to and from the CT exam rooms
Positions patients for exams
Provides instructions to patients prior to the beginning of their exam
Prepares IV, oral and rectal contrast as indicated by exam protocol
Who You Are:
Must have completed 1 year of Radiographic training in an AMA approved school required
Be a student in good standing with anticipated completion of program as enrolled required
Must meet the requirements for registry by the ARRT by end of program. required
