Academic Maternal Fetal Medicine Opportunity

ECU Health Physicians and The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at East Carolina University s Brody School of Medicine, located in Greenville, North Carolina, are seeking a full-time Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist to join their growing division.
Candidates must hold or be eligible for a certificate of special competence in Maternal Fetal Medicine from the American Board.

The faculty members' interests and skills include:

• • Consultation for regional providers concerning high-risk pregnancies-
  • Outpatient Management of High-Risk Pregnancies, 9,000+ visits (2,000 patients per year)
  • Pre-conception Counseling
  • Full range of fetal diagnostic procedures including amniocentesis, PUBS, CVS, etc
  • Fetal therapy including intrauterine transfusion, amino infusion, drug therapy, twin to twin transfusion syndrome, etc.
    
  • Clinical research with basic science collaboration

ECU Health Maynard Children s Hospital, located on the campus of ECU Health Medical Center, is designed to care for children from newborns to 18 years of age.
The 206,499 square foot 198-bed facility provides highly specialized services including a pediatric intensive care (PICU), neonatal intensive care (NICU), kids immunosuppressed specialty unit (KISU), specialty care nursery, mother-baby unit, pediatric ECMO services, 24/7 children s emergency department, acute dialysis and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), pediatric radiology, pediatric rehabilitation, general surgery, cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, and craniofacial surgery.
